Developed on a common platform; ACTRA / MARC-NX brings the latest Windows 95/98/NT - GUI / Graphical User Interface to create a Traffic Control Software that is customizable to your specific needs. ACTRA / MARC-NX is integrated, powerful, modular, intuitive, and expandable. A system can be started as a Closed-Loop system and expanded to meet future needs my adding modules as they become necessary.

  • Easy to use Windows interface which allows access and monitoring of Intersection Status thru:

    • GUI / Graphic User Interface Maps - pick the intersection from the area map - point and click - and you access the intersection map
      • Maps can be imported from map programs, CAD maps, or aerial photos
      • Pan and Zoom to the level of detail needed



      Zoom - In
      Choose an area to zoom-in on and that area map is magnified to bring out greater detail.

    • Intersection Graphics - one or more intersection's "real-time" information status can be displayed
      • Background maps can be imported from various CAD or drawing programs
      • Intersection maps can also be chosen from a wide-range of standard maps from the ACTRA / MARC-NX library of intersections

      • Intersection Graphics can be easily modified to display functional status of the intersection's operation

    When you place the cursor on the phase icon, the phase is identified.

    Help windows for each menu are available
    by clicking on the (?) icon.

    Data can be copied, cut, and pasted from Master to Local - from Local to Master. Reports to check and compare local and master data can be run at scheduled intervals to verify database values. Discrepancies will be flagged to allow system administrator to choose between local data, master data, or to make another choice.

    • The System Administrator can grant level of access to users for the System or for individual intersections. This makes ACTRA / MARC-NX ideal for multi-jurisdictional traffic systems.
